Thermal Energy Storage for CSP
→ OpenMaster's research evaluating Thermal Energy Storage configurations for Concentrated Solar Power. Built an analytical TES tank model in MATLAB and validated it against bench experiments to hold near-constant outlet temperature for industrial process heat.
HVAC for HVDC Control Buildings
→ OpenDesigned ventilation and HVAC systems for HVDC power plant facilities. Built coordinated 3D Revit models, sized cooling with HAP load calcs, and applied ASHRAE, CIBSE & BSRIA codes for critical electrical infrastructure.
Reverse Logistics Network Optimisation
→ OpenModelled a multi-echelon supply chain in Siman ARENA to optimise reverse logistics for cost and throughput. Built the validation plan, ran verification testing, and tracked delivery against a Gantt-scheduled milestone plan.
Formula Student — Combustion Vehicle
→ OpenFour-year Formula Student program. Designed the steering system in Siemens NX with ANSYS validation (6° free play), simulated vehicle dynamics in MATLAB Simulink and LOTUS Shark, and led manufacturing to cut fabrication time by a month. Top-5 placement, sub-10 design report ranking.
